Introduction
Welcome to GAGE (“GAGE,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the GAGE mobile application, website, messaging tools, public posting features, workplace workspaces, evaluations, and all related functionality (collectively, the “Services”).
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree, you must stop using GAGE immediately.
GAGE is intended solely for users aged 16 years and older. If we obtain actual knowledge that a user is under 16, we will remove or suspend the account and delete personal data in accordance with our Child Protection Policy.
About GAGE
GAGE is a digital community and workplace engagement platform that enables:
Public posts and comments.
1:1 and group messaging.
Video uploads.
User-member-controlled, shareable, and public profiles.
Workplace-based evaluations (visible only to employee + employer).
Recognition features.
Blocking and reporting mechanisms.
Automated and human content moderation.
GAGE is not a payroll provider, employer, background-check service, or credit bureau.
Eligibility
To use GAGE, you must:
Be at least 16 years old.
Have legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
Not be prohibited from using the Services under applicable law.
Not have had a previous account permanently banned from GAGE.
We may require age verification if your status is unclear or disputed.
Account Creation and Security
When you create an account, you must:
Provide accurate and complete information.
Maintain the security of your login credentials.
Notify us immediately of unauthorized access.
Not sell, transfer, or share your account.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
Acceptable Use Requirements
You agree not to use GAGE to:
Illegal or harmful activity:
Break laws.
Engage in fraud or scams.
Promote violence or self-harm.
Abusive behavior:
Harass, stalk, threaten, or bully others.
Use hate speech or discrimination.
Endanger minors.
Prohibited content:
Pornography or sexually explicit content.
Sexual content involving minors.
Graphic violence or gore.
Malware or malicious content.
Platform manipulation:
Circumvent moderation tools.
Interfere with platform operations.
Create fake accounts or impersonate others.
User-Generated Content (UGC)
Users retain ownership of their content but grant GAGE TECHNOLOGY, INC. a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to operate and improve the Services.
We may remove content that violates laws, safety policies, or platform rules.
Public Posting
Public posts on GAGE are visible to all users. You must ensure you have rights to share any posted content and that such content complies with these Terms.
Messaging Features
GAGE supports 1:1 and group messaging with text, photos, and videos. Users may block others and delete or edit their messages.
GAGE does NOT support audio messages, livestreaming, or voice calls.
Messages may be scanned by automated systems when reported.
User Blocking
Users may block other users at any time. Blocking restricts messaging, profile viewing, and specific interactions.
This feature is required by Apple App Store standards for UGC apps.
Reporting Tools
Users may report harassment, abuse, impersonation, safety issues, or underage accounts. Reports undergo automated and human review.
Workplace Evaluations
Employer-generated evaluations:
Are not public.
Are visible only to the employer + employee.
Are NOT background checks or FCRA-compliant reports.
Are NOT employment decisions made by GAGE.
Universal Employment Score (UES)
UES is an internal engagement indicator.
Not a credit score.
Not a background check.
Not for credit, housing, or lending decisions.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts for Terms violations, safety risks, underage use, or fraud. Users may delete accounts at any time.
Disclaimers
GAGE is provided 'as is' without warranties. We do not guarantee accuracy of UGC, continuous service availability, or employment outcomes.
Limitation of Liability
GAGE TECHNOLOGY, INC.'s total liability shall not exceed $100 USD or the amount paid to use GAGE in the past 12 months, whichever is greater.
Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed exclusively by the laws of the State of Delaware. All disputes must be resolved in state or federal courts located in Delaware.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of GAGE constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
