Introduction
GAGE TECHNOLOGY, INC. is committed to protecting young people who may interact with our platform. GAGE is designed strictly for individuals aged 16 years and older. This policy outlines our prevention, detection, reporting, and enforcement measures designed to safeguard minors and comply with legal requirements, Apple App Store policies, and industry safety standards used by platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and Discord.
Age Requirement
GAGE may only be used by individuals aged 16 and older.
Suppose we obtain actual knowledge or credible evidence that an account belongs to a user under 16. In that case, the account will be suspended or removed, and personal data will be deleted in accordance with our Data Retention Policy.
If a Minor Misrepresents Their Age
If a user lies about their age during signup and we later determine they are under 16, the account will be:
Immediately deactivated.
Scheduled for data deletion.
Prevented from re-registering unless they meet the age requirement.
To restore access after an age-related suspension, users must provide a government-issued ID verifying age.
Zero Tolerance for Child Sexual Content
GAGE enforces a zero-tolerance policy for:
Sexual content of any kind.
Grooming, enticement, or exploitation attempts.
Sharing, requesting, or distributing sexualized images of minors.
Violations result in:
Immediate account termination.
Device-level banning where feasible.
Mandatory reporting to law enforcement and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) (as required by U.S. law).
Detection & Safety Monitoring
To protect minors, GAGE uses a layered approach combining:
Automated detection tools (text scanning).
Human moderation teams.
Content suspected of involving minors may be removed or restricted while reviewed.
Reporting Underage Use or Exploitation
Users may report suspected underage accounts, grooming behavior, or child safety threats using:
In-app reporting tools.
Reports are prioritized and reviewed immediately. Verified child safety violations result in law enforcement escalation.
Communication Safety Measures
To reduce risks in messaging features, GAGE prohibits:
Sexual advances.
Suggestive messages.
Requests for personal contact information from minors.
Attempts to move conversations off-platform to evade safety systems.
Messaging content may be scanned by automated systems when flagged or reported.
Content Restrictions Involving Minors
Content depicting minors is restricted and may not include:
Nudity or partial nudity.
Situations implying sexualization.
Dangerous activities without proper context.
Minors in distress or unsafe environments.
Such content may be removed even without malicious intent.
Law Enforcement Cooperation
GAGE complies with all mandatory reporting requirements. We may:
Preserve account information.
Provide data to law enforcement upon valid legal request.
Block or restrict accounts involved in investigations.
Parental or Guardian Requests
Because GAGE is not intended for minors, parents or guardians who learn their underage child has created an account may request removal at reportabuse@gagework.com.
We will remove the account after verifying the request.
Appeals for Age-Related Account Actions
Users suspended for age concerns may appeal by providing government-issued ID. Appeals are reviewed at the sole discretion of GAGE TECHNOLOGY, INC.
